The Emergency Visioglobe Application (EVA) is an app designed to improve evacuation procedures in large buildings by providing real-time tracking and communication for building managers and first responders.
I led the UX/UI design process, from gathering user needs to crafting prototypes to test our solution on our users.
I then create the marketing content to promote this application and pitch the concept to our entire user base.
Evacuation processes in large buildings are still largely based on pen and paper
Poor awareness of evacuation procedures among collaborators leads to inefficiency and lack of data makes process improvement difficult.
The current processes lack efficiency in communicating with the first respondent teams, putting people at risk.
Bringing the best practices from top security teams to every building, no matter the size, through an opinionated yet flexible application.
The mobile application allows sweepers (a person in charge of checking that everyone has correctly evacuated a given floor) to send their reports directly to a central computer, allowing the security personal and the first responder teams to quickly locate rooms where their intervention is needed.
Easy access to all the relevant link and documents allows for an easy set up.
Access to all previous training data allows security teams to identify bottlenecks in the evacuation process and improve their processes.
